“ Forno was on my list for a very long time and we finally got to go on my birthday this year. The taste of the food was average at best. The Burratta was good with the bread. We finished that quickly. The Atlantic Cod was pretty bland The Cauliflower side was cold and the sauce was tasteless The Eggplant was good and I would recommend The Bolognese was also good and ot came with a good portion size One cannot go wrong with the Creme Brule, our kids loved it The Pope Chocolate dessert was unique and very good as well Maybe we should have started our dinner with the desserts first as we liked them better than our food. ”
“ This restaurant is beautiful. We had a reservation which for six. Traffic getting there was horrific which made us a little late. Somehow they were able to manage to accommodate us and we enjoyed wine, bread and a delicious meal. Presentations was stellar! I would highly recommend! ”
“ I cannot recommend the gnudi, at Forno enough! Great meal. Dining solo and the service never made me feel as if dining solo was awkward (so few restaurants get this right). In addition to the gnudi, I got the arancini and the crème brûlée. I enjoyed all of it. ”
“ We have been going to Forno for years and this is my first review on Google. We had a reservation for four at 7:15pm on a Saturday night at a high top in the bar area, and arrived exactly on time. Like every other time we have gone, our table was still occupied by other guests when we arrived. And if you have ever been, you know that the place is small and there is absolutely no room in the foyer to wait. After getting two emails and a text reminding me of our reservation, it is frustrating that we still had to wait 16 minutes for our table while the bartender completely ignored that we were standing right by the bar and didn't ask if we would like a drink. I had to be more assertive than I normally would to get his attention to get us some wine. When we were seated, it took a good 15 minutes before that same bartender came over to acknowledge us. After that, the evening went smoothly. Our server Liz was great. We started with the Tonne e Fagioli. It has been on there menu for forever, and is a unique presentation of yellow fin tuna on beans. It does have a fennel note, which I love, but it is not for everyone. And I wish the beans were cooked just a teensy bit more. The artichoke soup was very good, but came to our table cold. I wanted to send it back to get heated, but my wife didn't want to complain. The house made focaccia was excellent, as were all of the bruschetta options. For our mains, two of us ordered pizza. The Salsiccia E Cipolla (sausage, caramelized onion, mozzarella) was loved by my friend, and the Elena (black truffle, gorgonzola, mozzarella and arugula) was also liked, but we thought it needed a generous drizzle of EVOO over the top and didn't have much truffle flavor at all. The Atlantic Cod dish was wonderful, and the Pork Chop Milanese was huge and cooked perfectly. The cauliflower on top was fantastic. If Forno could just up their service game more and pay attention to the little details (like hot soup), I would give it 5 stars for a casual Italian place. ”
“ If I could give it 6 stars, I would. My husband and I went to Forno for our 10 year anniversary, we've never had a better restaurant experience. Our server, Lauren, was fantastic. She made sure our waters were always full, that we were satisfied with our food, and she gave us a dessert on the house in celebration of our anniversary. We started off with the bread basket, it was phenomenal. The price was also a steal, in my opinion. My husband got the Margherita pizza with spicy oil, it was delicious! The mozzarella was so fresh and it was wood fired. I had the cacio e pepe, it was delightful. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and they gave us the basil infused cream with blueberry compote. Both were amazing, but the tiramisu blew me away. I was almost in tears, tiramisu is my favorite dessert and I've never tasted one so intense while still being light. The ambiance was perfect for a date night, it was still fairly casual while feeling high end at the same time. We will most definitely be back. You can tell everyone in there is passionate about the food. The manager also came and checked on us and packaged up our leftovers for us in a nice reusable bag. I am more than pleased, over the moon even, to have dined here. Thank you Forno! ”
“ The food was spectacular from appetizers to main courses and sides I felt it was in Itally and some one grandma made the food with her generations passed down recipes, the burrata and the bread were authentic the servers were friendly, experienced and professional, Forno became a favorite. ”
“ “El” and the entire staff are exceptional !! The food was the best I’ve had in this area and can easily rival the 6 years I lived in Italy (which is the best in the world) and believe me I know great food. I only wish I could give more stars. Many restaurants slap an Italian name on a sign to get you to try it and then it’s disappointing. Forno is a cut above all the rest and from the sauce, to the pasta, to the vino and into the dessert it was simply perfect. A professional and courteous staff topped off the entire experience. Thank you for restoring my faith in what dining and superb food is all about. Take a bow because you are the exception and I’m just sad I’ve been here 3 years and no one told me about this place. I’ll be back soon! Ten stars !!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ”
